Everyone these lifts aren’t there anymore as the car park demolished years ago and is just 1st and 2nd floor

This Ots equipment was/is known as 'standard Housing' as it was installed in many blocks of flats, sometimes as a 'Skip Floor' installation each lift serving alternate floors one for odd floors and one for evens floors. Much of the equipment it was prefabricated aluminium alloy entrance and arrived on site pre assembled frames very basic.

I remember learning from one of your videos and my mum was quite happy that i learnt something And thats when you sent the key rings and stickers. I like revisiting this chanel because i still have an intrest in lifts even though i started trainspotting in 2021. So keep up the great videos👍👍👍

It seems like diode banks would make more sense than the motor generator setup. Was it more cost effective or more reliable to have this setup? I realize this gives three voltages. But ac voltage change is easy with a transformer.

I can relate to this but in a different way. I have phobia of Water heaters / Geysers. (Reshuiqiphobia) I am actually afraid of every big cylindrical object kept at height. It's really difficult to explain.

Why were the controls not put into lockable cabinets? Extremely unsafe in my opinion.
